Player of the Year - Round 6

Each round we'll be posting our votes for The Swans Blog's Player of the Year award.

The players will be voted on their performance on the day regardless of previous form. The player with the highest number of votes at the end of the season, wins. Simple.

Round 6 saw the Swans overturn a 22-point three quarter time deficit with a thrilling 7-goal last quarter, lead brilliantly by captain Josh Kennedy.

The Swans lead for most of the first half, but struggled to hit the scoreboard through the second and third quarters.

With the Cats a long way ahead, the Swans found a way to win and stormed home, with Sinclair, Heeney and Kennedy leading the midfield.

Kennedy finished the match with 33 disposals and 13 clearances, 13 of those disposals were in the last quarter, along with 6 clearances.

In comparison, Selwood, Dangerfield and Duncan had 14 clearances and 67 disposals among them.
