Teams: Sydney vs Collingwood, Friday April 7th, 7:50pm AEST

The Swans have announced their team for the Friday night clash against Collingwood at the SCG. Dawson, a 183cm utility, will become the 5th debutant for the Swans.

The 19 year old, who celebrates his 20th birthday just days after his debut on Friday night, is joined by Callum Sinclair and Jordan Foote, coming in for injured Kurt Tippett, and omitted pair Laidler and Cunningham.

Strong form, including 23 disposals, four marks and three goals in last weeks' NEAFL season opener, forced Longmire to take note.

"We're really looking forward to what Jordan's going to bring," Longmire said in this week's Centrum Team Selection.

"He's a big body, can take a strong mark and is a beautiful left-foot kick so it's great to get him into the side.

"He's been around for a little while now and he's starting to mature and he had a really good off-season."

Both Cameron and Sinclair were in line to replace Tippett, with Sinclair's 47 games of experience winning over the coaches on Thursday night at the match committee.

"He's played a bit of footy and we do have a young team running out," Longmire added, noting Sinclair's 29 games for West Coast before his 2015 trade.

"He competes really hard, whether it's in the ruck or up forward, so we're looking forward to seeing what he can bring."
