Swans star forward Lance Franklin has been cleared by the Match Review Panel for an incident involving Carlton defender Alex Silvagni.
The MRP assessed the contact between the two players from the first quarter of Saturday's match, with Franklin making high contact with an open hand.
A free kick was paid at the time and it was the view of the panel that the force used was below that required to constitute a report, no further action was taken.
In other MRP news, perennial pest, wannabe thug and massive bell end Toby Greene, can accept a two-week suspension for a cowardly hit on Caleb Jacob in his sides' win against the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.
The incident was assessed by the panel and was deemed to be medium impact, high contact and deliberate.
“Based on the available video evidence and a medical report ... the incident was assessed as intentional conduct with medium impact to the head,” the MRP statement said.
“The incident was classified as a three-match sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacts the penalty. An early plea enables the player to accept a two-match sanction.”
He'll never learn. In Swans-related MRP news, former Swan Toby Nankervis has been offered a one-week suspension after elbowing Crow David McKay to the head.
