Swans injury update

This weeks Swans injury update brings good news, with Jarrad McVeigh set to return to the senior side for the first time this season.

He'll be the first in a long line of players to leave the Swans burgeoning medical ward, and could be joined by Harry Marsh, Gary Rohan and Kurt Tippett, if they're able to pass fitness tests on Friday, ahead of Sunday's clash against the Lions.

Shaun Edwards is sidelined and will take no part in the NEAFL league for up to three weeks.

The Swans could welcome back both Kieren Jack and Dan Robinson for Battle of the Spoon round 8 clash, followed by Dane Rampe (3 weeks) and Sam Naismith (1-2 weeks).

Alex Johnson is still listed as indefinite, and while I would love for him to be available for the round 10 match against Hawthorn, it's highly unlikely he'll be available before the bye.

Kurt Tippett Hip Test
Gary Rohan Concussion Test
Jarrad McVeigh Calf Test
Harry Marsh Hamstring Test
Kieren Jack Hip 1 Week
Dan Robinson Collarbone 1 Week
Sam Naismith Knee 1-2 Weeks
Dane Rampe Arm 3 Weeks
Alex Johnson Knee Indefinite
