Each round we'll be posting our votes for The Swans Blog's Player of the Year award.
The players will be voted on their performance on the day regardless of previous form. The player with the highest number of votes at the end of the season, wins. Simple.
Last season we silently voted each week, and used them to forecast the Bob Skilton Medal count. We weren't far off the eventual winner, forecasting a top-3 of Kennedy, Parker and Franklin, with Hewett finishing top 5.
Round 2 saw the Swans play Port Adelaide at the SCG, their first home game of the 2018 season.
Port Adelaide ran out eventual winners by 23-points after a tight and contested first-half.
