Callum Sinclair the coaches delight

Callum Sinclair was in fine form for the Sydney Swans on Saturday night, dominating the ruck in a near best afield performance, picking up the lions share of the AFLCA coaches votes.

He bounced back from a disappointing performance against Port Adelaide in round 2 with a rucking masterclass, dominating both Rory Lobb and Jonathon Patton.

Hardly a ball magnet, he racked up 45 hit outs and kicked three goals from just 14 disposals, 11 of them contested and won 6 clearances.

Both coaches adjudged him best on ground, giving him 8 of a possible 10 votes, while Brett Kirk Medal winner Callum Mills received 6 votes.

Superstar forward Lance Franklin picked a single vote, while improving youngsters Lewis Melican (4) and George Hewett (3) were among the votes, while newly extended Will Hayward picked up 4.

Former Swans midfielder turned disposal record-breaker Tom Mitchell still heads the AFLCA list with 26 votes, despite not picking up any votes on the weekend.

Lance Franklin is the Swans highest voted player on 16, sitting in 6th place.
