Each round we'll be posting our votes for The Swans Blog's Player of the Year award.
The players will be voted on their performance on the day regardless of previous form. The player with the highest number of votes at the end of the season, wins. Simple.
Round 5 saw the Swans go down to the Adelaide Crows by 10 points at the SCG on Friday night, failing to convert their final quarter pressure onto the scoreboard.
The Crows lead for most of the game and valiantly held firm when the Swans challenged in the third quarter and drew within two points, before kicking four unanswered goals to seal the win.
The Swans had the last 7 scoring shots of the game but could only kick two goals, the last by George Hewett with just 100 seconds left on the clock.
A soccerred goal from Rohan was deemed a touched behind, despite it clearly taking a deviation off of Heeney's boot on the goal line.
