Player ratings: Sydney Swans vs Adelaide Crows, Round 2, 2019

Well, that wasn't great or pretty to watch, from either side. Lack of polish really hurt us, but there's nothing quite like being bent over by the umpires.

With the AFL's new 6-6-6 position, the ridiculous 50 metre penalty rule, and a rather public spanking by the AFL department, the umpires took it upon themselves to influence the match.

Longmire said after the match they've got to be paid both ways - damn straight. The umpires deserve a whack with a 2x4 after that game. Sure, Adelaide got the ones that were there, but were pretty bloody generous, while the Swans were absolutely reamed going the other way. It took more than one and a half quarters for the Swans to get their second free kick of the match. Chew on that.
