The AFL has selected its three nominations for Round two's goal of the week, including the monstrous 48m snap from Franklin in the final quarter against Port Adelaide.
With the Swans trailing by 3 goals early in the last, Franklin roved a contest in the Swans forward pocket and jammed it on his boot from 48 metres.
The contact off the boot was anything but clean, but with a leg like that it almost cleared the fence.
Last week Luke Parker gave us arguably the goal of the season - certainly the highlight of the match - with his spectacular bicycle-kick finish, collecting 63% of the vote.
The other two nominations of the week are equally good snaps, with Coniglio slotting it through from an impossible angle, and Eagles livewire Liam Ryan kicking a banana after great set-up play.
Make sure you get over to the AFL site, sign-up if you have to, and vote for Franklin.
All members of the public that pick the winner of the week go into the Coats Hire draw to win $10,000 at the end of the season.
Voting closes Thursday night, so get voting!
