Player of the Year - Round 3, 2019

Each round we'll be posting our votes for The Swans Blog's Player of the Year award.

The players will be voted on their performance on the day regardless of previous form. The player with the highest number of votes at the end of the season, wins. Simple.

Round 3 saw the Swans record their first victory of the season, with a 19-point win in a pulsating contest against Carlton on Saturday afternoon.

Carlton lead the game early through two first-quarter goals to Ed Curnow, before the Swans bounced back through Lance Franklin, Isaac Heeney and Luke Parker to open up a 31-point lead.

Two late goals in the third term, before wasting a number of gilt-edged chances through the fourth quarter, came back to haunt them, as Isaac Heeney sealed the victory with 5 minutes left.
